The Mindray BeneHeart C-Series adult electrodes can also be used for children by pressing the pediatric button on the AED. These electrodes can be pre-connected to the AED, saving valuable time in an emergency. Changing the electrodes is very easy; simply plug the connector into the AED. The electrodes can be stored in a designated compartment in the AED's lid.

Service life of MR62 electrodes

The electrodes have an expiration date because the conductive gel can dry out. After the expiration date, they can no longer be used. Therefore, always ensure you have an unopened set of electrodes with an expiration date that has not yet passed. The MR62 electrodes have a shelf life of approximately 4 years. The expiration date is found on a sticker on the packaging.

Use in children:

Mindray's BeneHeart C series adult electrodes can be used on children by pressing the pediatric button on the AED. Switching to child mode immediately reduces the energy output.
