The Mindray BeneHeart AED electrodes for adults are also compatible for pediatric emergencies. These defibrillation pads can be pre-connected, meaning they can be connected to the AED in advance. This saves valuable time in the event of an emergency. Changing the electrodes is very easy: simply plug the connector already attached to the AED. The pads can be stored in a dedicated compartment in the AED's lid.

MR60 electrode lifespan
The electrodes have a limited lifespan due to the conductive gel, which can dry out. They should not be used after the expiration date. Therefore, always ensure you connect a sealed set of electrodes that has not yet expired. The electrodes have a shelf life of approximately 3 years. The expiration date is found on a sticker on the electrode packaging.
